I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I have been surrounded by the retail and fashion industry my entire life. My mom and aunt were in the fashion industry and they were major influencers on my career path. I studied Fashion Merchandise at FSU and then began my retail profession as an RTW manager at Burdines. The majority of my career was working my dream job in the buying offices for Burdines, then Macy's for 29 years. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work in the Travel Retail industry for airports as a Divisional Merchandise Manager. This experience added to my skill set, as travel retail has a completely different business model. My success has always been driven by building partnerships with my team, vendors, and stores to offer the best product and assortments for the customer.
